Abstract

This research’s objectives were 1) to develop web-based instruction (WBI) using STAD technique for
Pratomsueksa 5 on formula and function in computer program topic, 2) to compare students’ achievement
scores before and after learned with the WBI on formula and function in computer program topic, and
3) to study students’ satisfaction to the WBI. Sample was 32 students of Pratomsueksa 5 who studied in
Khudkwangsawaswittaya School, Khoawong District, Kalasin Province. Research instruments were 1) the
developed WBI using STAD technique for Pratomsueksa 5 on formula and function in computer program topic,
2) student achievement test, and 3) the student’s satisfaction questionnaire. Statistic used in the research
were finding the efficiency of the WBI with E1/E2 and comparing the achievement with t-test (dependent).
The research found that 1) the development of the WBI using STAD technique for Pratomsueksa 5 on
formula and function in computer program topic had the efficiency followed the criterion 80/80 which was
equal 83.45/82.43, 2) the comparison of the students’ achievement scores before and after learned with the
WBI found that after learning with the WBI the scores were higher than before the learning statistically at
.01, and 3) the student’s satisfaction towards the WBI on formula and function in computer program topic
had the average perspective level at 2.66 and standard deviation at 0.33, that showed their satisfactions at
highest level.
