Abstract
The research aims to study the current and desirable conditions and needs for academic management development for private primary schools in Bangkok based on the concept of people skills in society 5.0. The sample group was 193 private primary schools in Bangkok.The sample group were obtained from cluster or area sampling. There were 579 informants consisting of school director, deputy director, head of academic department,and teacher.The research instrument is questionnaires, which passed the comprehensive examination of the content structure Item Objective Congruence (IOC). The result of test by 5 experts, the total IOC score is 0.95. The data were analysed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and PNImodified.
The research results were found that overall, the current conditions of academic management development for private primary schools in Bangkok based on the concept of people skills in society 5.0 was at high level. Desirable condition at the highest level. When considering each aspect, were found that1) Current and desirable conditions of learning management was at high level (=3.662) (
=4.518) respectively. The priority needs was development of innovative media and learning resources (PNImodified=0.246). 2) Current and desirable conditions of people skills in society 5.0; Digital skill was at the highest level (
=3.692) (
=4.521) respectively. The priority needs was critical thinking and scientific inquisition skills for solving complex problems (PNImodified=0.251).
