Development of Practical Skills with the Use of Davies’ Instructional Model together with Think Pair Share and Web Supported Course for Prathom 5 Students of Khokko Khokklang School

Abstract

This research was a classroom action research with the objectives of 1) to study the results of learners' practice of developing practical skills through learning management using Davies' practical skills teaching model together with a partner who has a web site. support Computer subject for elementary school students 5 KhokKo Khok Klang School   2) to study student satisfaction towards learning management by using the Davies practical skills teaching model together with a web-supported partner. The research tool used by the researcher was the learning management plan. Improving practical skills using Davies' teaching model in conjunction with a web-supported partner. Statistics used were percentage, mean, standard deviation.

            Result 1. Development of students’ practical skills 1) 40.93% of students acquired low level (= 2.04, S.D. = 0.43)                  of practical skills in overall and 92.00% of students had the highest learning behavior (= 4.60, S.D. = 0.51) in loop 1. 2) 52.28% of students acquired moderate level (= 2.86, S.D. = 0.33) of practical skills in overall and 93.64% of students had the highest learning behavior (= 4.68, S.D. = 0.50) in loop 2. 3) 77.63% of students acquired high level (= 3.88, S.D. = 0.49) of practical skills in overall and 97.64% of students had the highest learning behavior (= 4.88, S.D. = 0.26) in loop 3. 2. The research result of students’ satisfaction towards learning management using practical skills teaching model of Davies together with peer-assisted learning and web support. Students’ satisfaction towards learning management was at the highest level in overall (= 4.82, S.D.= 0.26) arranging in descending order for 3 items as follows: having satisfaction towards learning activities (= 5.00, S.D. = 0.00), giving opportunity to attend activities
(= 5.00 , S.D. = 0.00), and promoting practical activities (= 5.00, S.D. = 0.50)
