Abstract

This research was aimed (1) to study the administrative competency of middle executive, (2) to study performance effectiveness of middle executive, (3) to study the administrative competency influence the performance effectiveness of middle executive, and (4) to build and verify the model for developing the administrative competency influence the performance effectiveness of middle executive. This research was held in Northeast of Thailand. The sample was the middle executive working at Rajabhat University in Northeast of Thailand by questionnaire. Analyze data by Descriptive Statistics and Multiple Regression Analysis. To building and verify the model by interviewing and expertise verifying. The research results were found as follows; (1) The administrative competency of middle executive as overall was at high level , considering each aspect for three raking were; the work coaching and assignment the authority commanding and the holistic viewing respectively. (2) The performance effectiveness of middle executive as overall was at high level , considering each aspect for three were; the acceptance of subordinates , the teamwork, the continuous development , the leadership and care for subordinates respectively. (3) The administrative competency factors influence the performance effectiveness of middle executive by statistical significant at 0.05 levels were; the government strategy making, the authority commanding, the proactive performance and the organization and bureaucracy understanding. The correlation coefficient was 0.704 and could jointly predict the middle executive’s performance effectiveness for 49.6% with standard error was  0.376. (4) Model for developing the administrative competency influence the performance effectiveness of middle executive were; developing the following approach; the government strategy making, the authority commanding, the proactive performance and the organization and bureaucracy understanding.
