Participation factors affecting the preparation of local development plans of Bang Sai Pa Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Bang Len District, Nakhon Pathom Province

Abstract
This research aimed to 1) study the level of participation factors affecting the preparation of local development plans of Bang Sai Pa Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Bang Len District, Nakhon Pathom Province, 2) study the level of local development plan preparation of Bang Sai Pa Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Bang Len District, Nakhon Pathom Province, 3) study the participation factors affecting the preparation of local development plans of Bang Sai Pa Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Bang Len District, Nakhon Pathom Province, and 4) study recommendations on participation in the preparation of local development plans of Bang Sai Pa Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Bang Len District, Nakhon Pathom Province. The sample consisted of 313 heads or representatives of household heads in Bang Sai Pa Subdistrict Administrative Organization, calculated using Yamane’s formula. Data were collected by questionnaires. The statistics used for data analysis included mean, standard deviation, and linear multiple regression analysis by Enter method at a statistical significance level of .05. The results of the research found that 1) the level of participation factors was at the highest level overall, 2) the level of local development plan preparation Overall, it was at the highest level. 3) The relationship between participation factors affecting the preparation of local development plans was found to be at a high level, with a value of .725, statistically significant at the .01 level, with a multiple correlation coefficient of .793, statistically significant at the .01 level. 4) The recommendation is that there should be more channels for decision-making in participation in order to present problems and needs of local people. People should be encouraged to participate in decision-making in determining projects and activities to present to the sub-district administrative organization.
