การสร้างคุณลักษณะอันพึงประสงค์ที่ปรากฏในหนังสือเรียนภาษาไทยระดับประถมศึกษา Creating Desirable Characteristics as Found in Thai Textbooks for Elementary Students

Abstract

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาคุณลักษณะอันพึงประสงค์ระดับพัฒนาการทางจริยธรรมและกลวิธีการนำเสนอ คุณลักษณะ
อันพึงประสงค์ที่ปรากฏในหนังสือเรียนภาษาไทยระดับประถมศึกษาตามหลักสูตรแกนกลางการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน พุทธศักราช 2551
จำนวน 12 เล่ม เสนอผลการศึกษาแบบพรรณนาวิเคราะห์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า
คณุ ลักษณะอันพงึ ประสงคท์ ี่ปรากฏในหนงั สอื เรยี นภาษาไทยระดบั ประถมศึกษา มี 8 ขอ้ โดยเรยี งลาํ ดบั จากมากไปหานอ้ ย คอื
ด้านมีจิตสาธารณะ มากที่สุด รองลงมาคือ ด้านใฝ่เรียนรู้ ด้านอยู่อย่างพอเพียง ด้านรักความเป็นไทย ด้านรักชาติ ศาสน์ กษัตริย์ ด้าน
มุ่งมั่นในการทำงาน ด้านมีวินัยและด้านซื่อสัตย์ ตามลำดับ ระดับพัฒนาการทางจริยธรรมที่ปรากฏเรียงลำดับจากมากไปหาน้อยคือ ขั้น
ที่ 2 เอกบุคคลนิยมการตอบสนองความต้องการและการชำระแลกเปลี่ยน รองลงมาคือ ขั้นที่ 3 ความคาดหวังทางสังคมความสัมพันธ์
และการคล้อยตาม ขั้นที่ 5 สัญญาสังคมหรืออรรถประโยชน์และสิทธิส่วนบุคคล ขั้นที่ 6 หลักการจริยธรรมสากล ขั้นที่ 1 การลงโทษ
และการเชื่อฟัง ขั้นที่ 4 ระบบสังคมและมโนธรรม ตามลำดับ ส่วนกลวิธีการนำเสนอคุณลักษณะอันพึงประสงค์ที่ปรากฏเรียงลำดับ จาก
มากไปน้อยคือ การนำเสนอผ่านการกระทำและทรรศนะของตัวละคร กลวิธีที่พบรองลงมาคือ การนำเสนอผ่านศิลปะการใช้ภาษา การนำ
เสนอผ่านแก่นเรื่อง การนำเสนอผ่านการบอกเล่าของผู้แต่งโดยตรง ตามลำดับ

This research aimed to study desirable characteristics, the stages of moral development, and techniques
or strategies for presenting desirable characteristics as found in Thai textbooks for elementary students
based on The Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E. 2551 (A.D. 2008). Findings of the study, which were
presented in descriptive analysis, revealed the following:
The desirable characteristics, as found in Thai textbooks for elementary students, consisted of eight
categories arranged in a descending order as follows: public-minded, eager to learn, self-sufficient living,
love being Thai, loyal to the nation & religion and monarch, committed to work, being disciplined, and being
honest; the stages of moral development were found and arranged in a descending order as follows: Stage
1 (individualism: responding to needs and exchanges), Stage 3 ( Social expectation, relationships and
conformity), Stage 5 (Social contract & benefits and personal rights), Stage 6 ( International moral principles),
Stage 1 (Punishment and compliance), and Stage 4 (Social system and conscience); and the techniques or strategies for presenting desirable characteristics were found in a descending order as follows: presenting
through actions and characters’ attitudes, presenting through rhetorical expression, presenting through use
of story theme, and presenting through the author’s narration.
