Abstract

The purposes of this research were: 1) to examine the level of the application of artificial intelligence in school administration, and 2) to compare the application of AI in school administration in Non Daeng District under the Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Educational Service Area Office 7, classified by administrators’ administrative experience and school size. This study employed a quantitative research design. The sample consisted of 19 schools in Non Daeng District. The key informants included school directors, deputy directors, and heads of four administrative divisions, totaling 95 participants, selected through stratified random sampling based on school size. The research instrument was a five-point rating scale questionnaire with an index of item–objective congruence ranging from 0.67 to 1.00 and an overall reliability coefficient of 0.99. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, independent samples t-test, and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). When statistically significant differences were found, pairwise comparisons were conducted using Scheffé’s method.
The results revealed that: 1) the overall level of AI application in school administration was at a high level; and 2) when classified by administrators’ administrative experience, a statistically significant difference was found at the .05 level. Administrators with less than five years of experience demonstrated a higher level of AI application than those with more than ten years of experience. However, when classified by school size, no statistically significant differences were found.
