Research on the Quality and Balanced Development of Compulsory Education in Henan, China

Abstract
The high-quality and balanced development of compulsory education, as an area that is highly valued by countries around the world, plays an important role in national economy, people's livelihood, and international competition. Henan, located in the central area of China, is a province with large human resources. The high-quality and balanced development of compulsory education in Henan directly affects the talent support for China's future development. Therefore, this paper selects the high-quality and balanced development of compulsory education in five counties of Henan Province as the research objects. Through the use of comparative research, literature review, and questionnaire surveys, this paper discusses and discovers the current situation and existing problems of the high-quality and balanced development of compulsory education in Henan counties in terms of funding support, government guarantees, educational conditions, educational quality, social identity, etc., and proposes targeted promotion strategies in terms of changing concepts, resource utilization, characteristic education, and campus culture.
