Abstract

The purposes of this research were to 1) investigate the internal quality assurance operation of schools under the Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Education Service Area Office (PESAO), 2) compare the internal quality assurance operation of schools under the Nakhon Si Thammarat PESAO according to variables of age, educational background, position, professional level, and experiences in the position of school director, 3) compare the internal quality assurance operation of the schools according to variables of school types and sizes, and 4) study problems and make suggestions to the internal quality assurance operation of the schools. The reliability of the questionnaire used to collect data was 0.882. The sample were 234 school directors under the Nakhon Si Thammarat PESAO. A questionnaire was a research tool for collecting data. The data were statistically analysed by percentage, standard deviation, One-way ANOVA, and multiple comparisons using LSD.

The results were found that the operation of the internal quality assurance of the schools was very good. The comparative results of the operation of the internal quality assurance of the schools classified by age, educational background, position, professional level, and experiences in the position of school director revealed results were found that there are non-significant differences in either overall or each of eight aspects.
