THE OPINIONS ON THE OPENING OF THE INTERNATIONAL COMPETENCY TEACHERS PROGRAM IN ACCORDANCE WITH PISA GUIDELINES OF BECHELOR DEGREE OF EDUCATION PROGRAM IN MATHEMATICS AND COMPUTING SCIENCE OF STUDENTS AND EDUCATIONAL PERSONNEL IN PHETCHABUN AND PHICHIT PROVINCES

Abstract

The purposes of the research were to : 1) study the need and importance of the Bachelor of Education Program in Mathematics and Computing sciences, Faculty of Science and Technology, Phetchabun Rajabhat University, 2) find out the need for further study in the Bachelor of Education program in Mathematics and Computing Science of students in Phetchabun and Phichit Provinces, 3) guide the development of the Bachelor of Education program in Mathematics and Computing Science, Faculty of Science and Technology of Phetchabun Rajabhat University to be up-to-date in accordance with the current economical and social conditions. The samples were students and educational personnel in the Phetchabun and Phichit Province. The samples was randomised with (by using) simple random samping technique.   1) Students and educational personnel in Phetchabun and Phitchit provinces had opinions on the Bachelor of Education program in mathematics and computing science in all aspects at a high level, such as  the necessity for the production and development of teachers based on international competencies, competency and potential of mathematics and computational science teachers, the needs and necessities for the production of international competency teachers in mathematics and computational science, and the confidence in the production of international competency teachers in mathematics and computing science.     2) 70% Students in Phetchabun and Phichit provinces had a desire to study in the Bachelor of Education program in Mathematics and Computing Science with statistical significance at 0.05 level.
