COMPARISON OF SATISFACTION WITH THE HOMESTAY POTENTIAL AT KHIRI WONGKOT, UDONTHANI PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives were to 1) study the comparison of satisfaction with the homestay potential at Khiri Wongkot, Udonthani Province. 2) advise the guidelines to develop the potential of Khiri Wongkot homestay, Udonthani Province. The research method was the mix method. The samples were 420 Khiri Wongkot community tourists/visitors by simple random sampling method. And by purposive sampling with 15 homestay owners. The tools used for collected the data were questionnaires and structured interviews by content analysis and by using content analysis and the statistics used to test the hypothesis were t-test and ANOVA.

 Results of the research were found that male and female samples were different levels of satisfaction with the potential of homestays, statistically significant at the .05 level (t = -2.452 and P-value = 0.015). The samples were of different ages that had different levels of satisfaction with the potential of homestays, statistically significant at the .05 level (F = 4.176 and P-value = 0.006). The sample groups had different educational levels. There is a level of satisfaction with the potential of different homestays statistically significant at the .05 level (F = 3.404 and P-value = 0.034). The sample groups of occupations were different. There are different levels of satisfaction with the potential of homestays, statistically significant at the .05 level (F = 3.747 and P-value = 0.005). The sample groups had different income levels. There are different levels of satisfaction with the potential of homestays, statistically significant at the .05 level
