THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS AND INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE IN SCHOOL UNDER LOEI PROVINCIAL OFFICE OF THE NON-FORMAL AND INFORMAL EDUCATION

Abstract

The research entitled “The  relationship between  transformational leadership of  school administrators  and  internal quality assurance in  schools under  Loei  Provincial Office  of the  Non-Formal  and  Informal   Education” which the research purposes were 1) to identify the transformational leadership of school administrators, 2) to investigate the internal quality assurance  in the schools, and 3)  to determine the relationship between the transformational leadership of school administrators and the internal quality assurance  in the schools.  

               The research findings were as follows:

1. The transformational leadership of school administrators was evidently found in overall aspect at a high level. It was found that the aspect of being a role model was the highest mean and followed by the high expectation of work performance whilst the lowest mean was the intellectual stimulation.


2. The overall aspect of the internal quality assurance in the schools was distinctly found at a high level. The highest mean was the information and management system then the internal quality assurance operation considering the school’s education standard respectively whilst the annual report of the internal quality assessment was obviously found at the lowest mean.

        3. The transformational leadership of school administrators was positively correlated with the internal quality assurance in the schools at a high level with the statistical significance of .01 level. The highest correlation was the vision formulation and the annual report of the internal quality assessment with the statistical significance of .01 level.
