THE DEVELOPMENT OF A HOUSEHOLD ACCOUNTING APPLICATION (MONEY ME)

Abstract
The objectives of this research were to study 1) study development of a household accounting application, 2) development of a household accounting application (Money Me), and 3) investigate user satisfaction with the developed household accounting application (Money Me). The sample group consisted of 30 participants from the Tha Tum community in Maha Sarakham Province. The research instruments included the Money Me household accounting application, which was evaluated for appropriateness by experts with a mean score of 4.52, and questionnaires regarding user requirements and satisfaction. These questionnaires utilized a 5-point Likert scale and achieved an Item-Objective Congruence (IOC) index of 1.00, confirming their alignment with the research objectives. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
The major findings revealed that 1) the overall level of requirements for the household accounting application was at the highest level; 2) the household accounting application (Money Me) demonstrated overall consistency with the needs of households in Maha Sarakham Province at the highest level; and 3) the overall level of user satisfaction with the household accounting application (Money Me) was at the highest level.
