CONFIRMATORY FACTOR ANALYSIS OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE OF EDUCATIONAL ADMINISTRATORS UNDER THE UDON THANI PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 3

Abstract
This research aimed to examine the components of emotional intelligence and to validate the structural model of educational administrators’ emotional intelligence against empirical data in the Udon Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The sample consisted of 400 educational administrators and teachers selected through simple random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of .983. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and confirmatory factor analysis.
The results indicated that the model comprised five main components, 17 sub-components, and 69 indicators. The model demonstrated a good fit to the empirical data after modification, with the following fit indices: χ² = 5.619, df = 2, p = .060, RMSEA = .067, GFI = .995, and AGFI = .959.
