Teacher’s Participation in Internal Supervision of School in Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Administrative Organization

Abstract

ABSTRACT

The research aimed 1) to study the level of teacher’s participation in internal supervision of the schools under Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Administrative Organization and 2) to compare the teacher’s participation in internal supervision of the schools in Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Administrative Organization classified by educational level, classroom level, and size of schools. The research samples were 321 teachers under Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Administrative Organization, academic year 2014. The research instrument used in data collection was a five scale Likerts questionnaires with 5 aspects: 1) supervision planning 2) providing knowledge before supervision 3) supervision process 4) supplementary for supervision operators and 5) the evaluation of supervision with the overall of the reliability as 0.96 and by each individual aspect in the range of 0.85-0.93. Statistics employed in data Analysis were Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, t-test, F- test and Scheffe’s Method.

            The findings were as follows:

1. The overall of the teacher’s participation in internal supervision of the schools under Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Administrative Organization was at high level. When considering by each individual aspect, it was found that the internal supervision process, providing knowledge before internal supervision and supervision planning were at high level. The supplementary for supervision operators and the evaluation of supervision were at moderate level.

2. The comparison of the teacher’s participation in internal supervision of the schools under Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Administrative Organization classified by the educational level, classroom level and size of schools was statistically different at the significant level of 0.05.
