Abstract

People who are aware of code of ethics had tendency in observing morality. A person with morality, spirituality, and knowledge can do a job efficiently. Especially, teacher is an important occupation for the development of people in the country. The objectives of this research paper were to study and compare the teacherhood of master degree graduates in terms of code of ethics on teaching profession. The samples were 91 master degree graduates and school students in semester 1/2018. The research instrument was the questionnaire. Statistics to be used in this research consisted of percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test. The research findings revealed that graduates had teacherhood according to the code of ethics on teaching profession at the high level in the overall picture. When analyzing individual aspects, there were found that teacherhood on Teaching Profession was at the highest level, another four aspects were at the high level. A comparison of teacherhood of Master degree graduates according to the Code of Ethics on Teaching Profession revealed that sex, status, and education of respondents had differences in opinion with not statistical significance in the overall picture. When analyzing individual aspects, status and education of respondents had statistically significant differences in terms of their teacherhood on Code of Ethics on Teaching Profession, Code of Ethics on Customer, and Code of Ethics on Co-worker.
