The Development of Sexual Literacy Scale and Norm of Secondary School Students

The findings were as follows: 1. Students’ sexual literacy indicators consisted of five components and thirty-six indicators. The five components were 1) knowledge of sex, 2) access to information on sex, 3) coping ability concerning sex, 4) self-management ability about sex and 5) application of knowledge and information about sex. 2. The sexual literacy scale of students contained 95 items. It was found that the content validity, difficulties, discrimination, and construct validity of all questions met the criteria. Moreover, the sexual literacy scale correlated with empirical data and had construct validity 2= 54.638, df = 36, p = 0.646,
2/ df = 1.517, RMSER = 0.000, RMR = 0.000GIF = 0.999, AGIF = 0.999 3. The norms of sexual literacy for students score interpretation presented in the form of normalized T-score for the whole test were in the range of T2-T91 and in the range of T5-T69 for knowledge of sex, in the range of T4-T69 for access to information on sex, in the range of T5-T76 for coping ability concerning sex, in the range of T2- T69 for self-management ability about sex, and in the range of T7- T78 for application of knowledge and information about sex.
