Leadership Development Model based on Sanghahavuttu for the Administrators of General Education Division of Phrapariyattidhamma Schools in Area 11

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the leadership based on Sangahavatthu (bases of social solidarity), 2) to create a leadership development model based on Sangahavattha, 3) to evaluate the leadership development model based on Sangahavattha. The research was carried out in 3 steps: 1) Studying the administrator leadership based on Sangahavatthu. The samples were 36 school administrators using random simple method. The instruments used were a five-scale rating questionnaire with IOC index of ​​0.60-1.00 and confidence index of ​​0.91. 2) Creating a leadership development model based on Sangahavattha through focus group discussion by 7 experts to examine the suitability of the model. 3) Evaluating the feasibility and usefulness of the model by the 36 samplers. The instrument was feasibility and usefulness evaluation form.

The research results were as follows: 1) The leadership based on Sangahavatthu consisted of Dana (generosity), Piyavaca (kindly speech), Atthacariya (useful conduct) and Samanattata (even and equality treatment) were scored in high level. 2) The leadership development model based on Sanghahavuttu consisted of 5 components: 1) Principle and Rationale, 2) Objectives, 3) Essence of Development which consists of 3 parts namely: Part 1 The leadership development based on Sanghahavuttu. Part 2 Development process, Part 3 Evaluation of development, 4) Implementation Guidelines, 5) Conditions for Success of the Model were rated at the highest level. 3) Feasibility and the usefulness of the leadership development model based on Sanghahavuttu in overall were rated at the highest level.
