Environment Administration in Tha Tum District under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Surin

Abstract

This research seeks to examine environmental management practices in schools located in Tha Tum District, governed by the Surin Secondary Education Area Office. 2) Analyze the environmental management practices in schools within Tha Tum District, governed by the Surin Secondary Education Area Office, classified by professional expertise and institutional size. The sample comprised 144 educators from institutions in Tha Tum District, governed by the Surin Secondary Education Area Office, chosen using stratified random sampling. Data were gathered by a questionnaire utilizing a 5-point Likert scale, resulting in a conformance index of 1 and a reliability coefficient of 0.96. The statistical analysis encompassed percentages, means, standard deviations, and t-tests.

Research findings suggested that, overall, environmental management at schools within Tha Tum District, under the Surin Secondary Education Area Office, was generally rated as excellent. Upon analysis of specific components, the greatest average score was attributed to teaching learning management, followed by administration, while facilities management received the lowest score. Moreover, there were no substantial disparities in environmental management among schools when considering teachers' varying job experiences across overall and specific dimensions. Significant statistical differences were identified in overall and specific characteristics of environmental management based on variations in school sizes at the .05 significance level.
