The Relationship Between Innovative Leadership of School Administrators with the Learning Organization of Educational Institutions under Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract

This research aimed to: 1) study the innovative leadership of school administrators, 2) study the learning organization of educational institutions, and 3) examine the relationship between innovative leadership of school administrators and the learning organization of educational institutions under Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The sample consisted of 313 participants, including 28 school administrators and 285 teachers. The sample size was determined using the Krejcie and Morgan table, and stratified random sampling was employed, with districts serving as the sampling strata. The research instrument was a five-level rating scale questionnaire with an Item-Objective Congruence (IOC) index ranging from 0.80 to 1.00. The reliability coefficient of the innovative leadership questionnaire was .88, while that of the learning organization questionnaire was .90. The statistical methods used for data analysis included frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s product-moment correlation coefficient.

The research results revealed that: The innovative leadership of school administrators under Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 was at a high level overall. When considering each aspect, teamwork and participation had the highest mean score, followed by vision for change, creating an innovative organizational atmosphere, creative thinking, and risk management, respectively. The learning organization of educational institutions under Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 was also at a high level overall. When considering each aspect, personnel development had the highest mean score, followed by knowledge management, knowledge transfer, use of innovation and information technology, and organizational structure, respectively. The relationship between innovative leadership of school administrators and the learning organization of educational institutions under Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 showed a positive relationship at a high level, with statistical significance at the .01 level (r = .720).
