สถานภาพงานวิจัยในวงการวิชาการจีนเกี่ยวกับคนไทยเชื้อสายจีนและชาวจีนโพ้นทะเลในประเทศไทย (พ.ศ. 2553-2565)

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์มุ่งที่จะศึกษาและวิเคราะห์สถานภาพงานวิจัยของนักวิชาการจีนในประเด็นเกี่ยวกับคนไทยเชื้อสายจีนและชาวจีนโพ้นทะเลในประเทศไทยนับตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2553 จนถึงปี พ.ศ. 2565 เป็นระยะเวลา 13 ปี โดยเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากเว็บไซต์โครงสร้างพื้นฐานความรู้แห่งชาติของประเทศจีน รวมจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 32 เรื่อง
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า งานวิจัยเหล่านี้จำแนกได้เป็น 4 กลุ่มหลักเรียงลำดับจากมากไปหาน้อย ได้แก่ การวิจัยด้านวัฒนธรรม การวิจัยด้านสังคม การวิจัยด้านการเมือง และการวิจัยด้านเศรษฐกิจ โดยประเด็นการวิจัยครอบคลุมหลายแง่มุมนับตั้งแต่ความเชื่อทางศาสนาของชาวจีนโพ้นทะเล จนถึงอัตลักษณ์และการหลอมรวมทางวัฒนธรรมจีน-ไทยต่าง ๆ รวมทั้งการเปลี่ยนแปลงในสังคมจีนโพ้นทะเล และสมาคมสังคมชาวจีนในประเทศไทย ตลอดจนความเปลี่ยนแปลงในชีวิตทางการเมือง และสภาพทั่วไปเกี่ยวกับเศรษฐกิจ อย่างไรก็ดี แม้เนื้อหาการวิจัยเกี่ยวกับคนไทยเชื้อสายจีนและชาวจีนโพ้นทะเลในประเทศไทยจะค่อย ๆ ลุ่มลึกและละเอียดพิถีพิถันมากขึ้น แต่การวิจัยในอนาคตก็ยังมีประเด็นที่น่าติดตาม และสมควรศึกษาต่อยอดอีกหลายประการในแต่ละประเด็น
