Factors Affecting Performance of Accountants in Bangkok Metropolitan Region

The objective of this research was to study the factors affecting the performance of accountants in Bangkok and its vicinity. The sample consisted of 397 accountants in Bangkok Metropolitan Region. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire which was tested for accuracy by experts. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was also tested and confidence was tested with values between 0.71-0.85. The statistics used in the analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, correlation and regression, statistical significance. at the .05 level, the results found that the factors affecting the performance of accountants in Bangkok and its vicinity, namely the physical environment factor, operating environment factor, and returns and benefits. The results of the research can be used to develop and promote so that accountants can perform accounting tasks more effectively in the organization.
