The Development of Teamwork Skill of Student, Faculty of Education Thonburi Rajabhat University Using Cooperative Learning Technique STAD

Abstract

         The purposes of this research were: 1) to compare pre- and post-study achievement of students who received cooperative learning using the Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) technique 2) to compare students' teamwork skills before and after cooperative learning the STAD technique, and 3) to study the learning satisfaction with cooperative learning the STAD technique.A sample of 34 subjects, selected from a specific sample, were students enrolled in the course Learning Management Science and Educational Quality Assurance in Semester 1, academic year 2023. The research tools are 1) a learning management plan for cooperative learning using the STAD Technique, 2) an achievement test. The confidence of the achievement test was 0.81, 3) Teamwork skills assessment. The confidence of the skill assessment was 0.74, and the student satisfaction questionnaire. The confidence level of the questionnaire is 0.85. Data was analyzed using mean, t-test for dependent samples, and standard deviation.

         The results found that 1) student achievement after organizing learning using the STAD technique was significantly higher than before learning at the 0.05 level, 2) teamwork process skills of students after organizing learning using the STAD technique were significantly higher than before learning at the 0.05 level, and 3) student learning satisfaction after organizing learning using the STAD technique was at a high level.
