Abstract

This Scholarly article presents a feminist perspective on music aesthetics in the context of western music by used Susan McClary’s concept about the view of deconstructing the meaning of absolute music and Luce Irigaray’s concept regarding the way of creating a musical text in a female pattern. To reveal the patriarchy that was concealed in the direction of the compositional structure in absolute music. Through an analysis of Clara Wieck Schumann's Piano Sonata No. 1, in the form of absolute music that was influenced by the concept of aesthetics in the eighteenth century. It is significantly related to gender and sexuality, which differs from the music in the preceding era.
