สีสันจากพันธุ์พฤกษา (Color of Flora)

Abstract

              การย้อมสี เป็นกระบวนการที่สำคัญขั้นตอนหนึ่งของงานสิ่งทอ และสีที่ใช้กันมาเป็นเวลานานจนถึงปัจจุบันก็คือ สีที่ได้จากวัสดุธรรมชาติ ได้แก่ จากพืชและสัตว์ เป็นสีธรรมชาติจากภูมิปัญญาชาวบ้าน ซึ่งสามารถหาได้ในพื้นที่ อีกทั้งกรรมวิธีการสกัดสีหรือการผลิตสีเป็นเรื่องของการเรียนรู้ที่สืบต่อกันมาตั้งแต่บรรพบุรุษ ตกทอดมายังลูกหลานและยังคงอนุรักษ์สืบสาน ต่อยอดเพื่อดำรงไว้ซึ่งความรู้ดั้งเดิมให้ยั่งยืนตลอดไป ปัจจุบันมีการส่งเสริมการใช้สีธรรมชาติเพิ่มมากขึ้น เนื่องจากมีผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมน้อยนั่นเอง

              Dyeing is one of the important processes of fabrication. Color which has been used for a long time is derived from nature such as plant and animal products. These are natural colors created from folk wisdom. The materials are available in local areas and the process of producing or extracting color is inherited from their ancestor and handed down to posterity. It is still continuously preserved and further developed, making it sustainable knowledge. Currently, the use of natural materials is increasingly promoted as it has little effect on the environment.
