Abstract

This research aims to 1) design and create jewelry ceramics products inspired by “lace” and also acquire the designing knowledge from a local factory in Chomphu sub-district, Mueang district, Lampang Province, and 2) help the factory and entrepreneurs to produce new and innovative products. This paper illustrates the conceptual content of the design and creation of products in the form of jewelry step by step. Consultation was also made to find the development of the product model and an agreement. Design principles include the stages of the creation of a systematic work, such as drawing a masterpiece of a lace pattern, making a jewelry prototype, mold making, soil casting and glazing experiments. The completed 6-set jewelry products consist of earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings and 8 pieces of lockets. An analysis shows that the lace pattern can be developed to create jewelry products to market. This project has workshops for factories and interested persons.
