Abstract
งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาคุณลักษณะเชิงพฤติกรรมที่แสดงถึงความสามารถของหน้าที่บริหารจัดการของสมอง (Executive Function: EF) ที่ส่งผลต่อสมรรถนะด้านการบริหารจัดการ (Managerial Competency: MC) ของผู้บริหารผู้วิจัยใช้วิธีวิเคราะห์เอกสารและสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกแบบกึ่งโครงสร้างกับกลุ่มผู้ให้ข้อมูลที่คัดเลือกแบบเจาะจง 2 กลุ่ม ได้แก่ ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้าน EF และผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้าน MC จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 14 คน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยทฤษฎีฐานราก
ผลการวิจัย พบว่า หน้าที่บริหารจัดการของสมอง (EF) ที่ส่งผลต่อสมรรถนะด้านการบริหารจัดการ มี 8 องค์ประกอบ คือ (1) ความจำขณะทำงาน ประเมินได้จากคุณลักษณะเชิงพฤติกรรม 3 ข้อ (2) การยับยั้ง ประเมินได้จากคุณลักษณะเชิงพฤติกรรม 4 ข้อ (3) การยืดหยุ่นความคิด ประเมินได้จากคุณลักษณะเชิงพฤติกรรม 5 ข้อ (4) การริเริ่ม ประเมินได้จากคุณลักษณะเชิงพฤติกรรม 4 ข้อ (5) ความสนใจจดจ่อ ประเมินได้จากคุณลักษณะเชิงพฤติกรรม 3 ข้อ (6) การวางแผน / จัดระบบ ประเมินได้จากคุณลักษณะเชิงพฤติกรรม 6 ข้อ (7) การตรวจสอบตนเอง ประเมินได้จากคุณลักษณะเชิงพฤติกรรม 3 ข้อ และ (8) การควบคุมอารมณ์ ประเมินได้จากคุณลักษณะเชิงพฤติกรรม 4 ข้อ ทั้งนี้ คุณลักษณะเชิงพฤติกรรมที่แสดงถึงความสามารถของหน้าที่บริหารจัดการของสมอง (EF) ที่ได้จากงานวิจัยนี้ สามารถนำไปสร้างเป็นแบบประเมินความสามารถของหน้าที่บริหารจัดการของสมอง (EF) ของผู้บริหาร ผ่านการสังเกตพฤติกรรมได้ และผลจากการประเมินนั้นยังนำไปใช้ในการวางแผนเพื่อพัฒนาทักษะด้านต่าง ๆ ที่เหมาะสมกับตำแหน่งผู้บริหารในองค์กรต่อไป
The objective of this research is to investigate the behavioral characteristics that exhibit an ability of the executive function (EF) affecting the managerial competency (MC) for management. By adopting a grounded theory analysis, a content analysis and an in-depth interview, with two key informant groups by purposive sampling, were performed, namely the EF experts and the MC experts. There were 14 respondents I in this study.
The study reveals that the executive function of the brain or EF that affects the management competency includes 8 components, namely (1) working memory, evaluated by 3 behavioral characteristics items; (2) inhibition, evaluated by 4 behavioral characteristics items; (3) cognitive flexibility, evaluated by 5 behavioral characteristics items; (4) initiation, assessed by 4 behavioral characteristics items; (5) focused attention, evaluated by 3 behavioral characteristics items; (6) planning/ organizing the system, assessed by 6 behavioral characteristics items; and (7) self-monitoring, assessed by 3 behavioral characteristics items; and (8) emotional control, evaluated by 4 behavioral characteristics items. The behavioral characteristics that demonstrate the ability of brain management functions or EF obtained from this research can be used as a template for evaluating the executive's brain function or EF’s ability through observing behavior. These results can be applied for the develop skill plan that are suitable for the top-level ranks in the organization.
