Abstract

ครูเป็นปัจจัยที่มีความสำคัญสูงสุดในการทำให้นักเรียนสนใจและมีความสุขในการเรียนรู้ ครูที่จะสอนได้ดีต้องเริ่มจากการมีทัศนคติที่ดีต่อวิชาชีพครูและอุทิศตนต่อการประกอบวิชาชีพ งานวิจัยชิ้นนี้จึงมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการพัฒนาทัศนคติเกี่ยวกับคุณลักษณะความเป็นครู โดยใช้กรณีตัวอย่างจากหนังสือเรื่อง ครูสมพรคนสอนลิง กลุ่มที่ศึกษาได้แก่ นิสิตครูวิทยาศาสตร์โครงการ สควค. จำนวน 39 คน ที่ลงทะเบียนเรียนในรายวิชาสารัตถทางการศึกษาสำหรับครูวิทยาศาสตร์ ในปีการศึกษา 2556 เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล คือ อนุทินสะท้อนความคิดเห็นจากการอ่านหนังสือเรื่อง ครูสมพรคนสอนลิง ซึ่งนิสิตจะต้องบันทึกใน 3 หัวข้อ คือ สาระสำคัญที่ปรากฏในหนังสือ  ความรู้สึกต่อการอ่านหนังสือ และคุณลักษณะความเป็นครูที่ได้เรียนรู้จากการอ่านหนังสือ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้การวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาและจัดกลุ่ม (Theme) พร้อมทั้งหาค่าความถี่ของจำนวนนิสิตในแต่ละกลุ่มเนื้อหา ผลการวิจัยพบว่า กรณีตัวอย่างเรื่อง “ครูสมพรคนสอนลิง” สามารถพัฒนาทัศคติเกี่ยวกับคุณลักษณะความเป็นครูที่ดีของนิสิตครูวิทยาศาสตร์ได้หลายประการ เช่น ครูต้องมีความรัก  ความเมตตาต่อศิษย์ มีความมานะพยายาม มีความคิดสร้างสรรค์  มีความประหยัด มีความสามารถในการสอนและประเมินผล  มีความอดทนอดกลั้น  มีความยุติธรรม  มีความรับผิดชอบต่อหน้าที่ มีความเสียสละ มีความศรัทธาในการประกอบวิชาชีพครู และการเป็นแบบอย่างที่ดีให้กับนักเรียน

Abstract

Teacher is the most important person who can encourage students to learn with happiness and pay attention in the lesson. Teachers who have positive attitude toward teaching profession and dedicated to the teaching profession tend to be good teachers. The purpose of this research was to study the development of pre-service science teachers’ attitude towards effective teacher characteristics using the case study of “Teacher Somporn who Teaches Monkeys”. The participants were 39 pre-service science teachers, in the project of PSMT, who enrolled in the Foundations of Education for Science Teachers course in the academic year 2013. The instrument used for collecting data was a reflective journal in which the participants were asked to reflect upon 3 topics: key messages of the books, their feeling, and the effective teacher characteristics that they had learnt from the book. The data were analyzed by content analysis; coding, generating themes and calculating the frequency of the pre-service science teachers in each theme. The findings showed that the case study could develop pre-service science teachers attitude towards effective teacher characteristics regarding their generosity for the students, hard-working attitude, creative thinking, self-efficiency, potential in teaching and assessing, patience, equity, responsibility, sacrifice, faith in teaching profession, and being a good role model.
