พฤติกรรมสารสนเทศในการป้องกันและควบคุมการแพร่ระบาดโรค COVID-19 ของสตรีถิ่น อสม. ในอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ (Local women village health volunteers' information behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic in Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai Province)

Abstract

บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมสารสนเทศทางด้านสุขภาพของสตรีถิ่นอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้านในการให้ความรู้แก่ชุมชนเพื่อป้องกัน เฝ้าระวังและควบคุมการแพร่ระบาดของโรคติดเชื้อไวรัสโคโรนาสายพันธุ์ใหม่ 2019 ในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ โดยใช้วิธีวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการศึกษา คือ แบบสอบถาม กลุ่มตัวอย่างประกอบด้วย สตรีอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้าน (อสม.) ในพื้นที่ตำบลสุเทพ ตำบลแม่เหียะ ตำบลฟ้าฮ่าม และตำบลท่าศาลา อำเภอเมืองเชียงใหม่ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ จำนวน 250 ตัวอย่าง สถิติที่ใช้ ได้แก่ ค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ยและค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า สตรีถิ่น อสม. มีพฤติกรรมสารสนเทศทางด้านสุขภาพอยู่ในระดับมาก คือ มีความต้องการสารสนเทศทางด้านสุขภาพเพื่อให้ความรู้แก่ชุมชนในการป้องกัน เฝ้าระวังและควบคุมการแพร่ระบาดของโรคติดเชื้อไวรัสโคโรนาสายพันธุ์ ใหม่ 2019 มีการแสวงหาสารสนเทศทางด้านสุขภาพจากแหล่งสารสนเทศที่มีความน่าเชื่อถือ มีการใช้สารสนเทศทางด้านสุขภาพที่ได้รับมาไปใช้แก้ปัญหารวมทั้งเลือกใช้สารสนเทศหรือความรู้ทางด้านสุขภาพจากแหล่งสารสนเทศที่ระบุแหล่งที่มาชัดเจน ส่วนปัญหาที่พบมีค่าอยู่ในระดับน้อย ซึ่งแสดงให้เห็นได้อย่างชัดเจนว่า สตรีถิ่น อสม. ส่วนใหญ่มีอุปกรณ์หรือเครื่องมือทางเทคโนโลยีในการแสวงหาสารสนเทศหรือความรู้ทางด้านสุขภาพและมีพฤติกรรมในการใช้สารสนเทศทางด้านสุขภาพที่เหมาะสม

The article aims to explore the health information behavior of local women village health volunteers (VHVs) in preventing, keeping surveillance, and controlling the COVID-19 pandemic in Chiang Mai Province. The study employed quantitative research methods that used a questionnaire as the research instrument. The sample consisted of 250 local women village health volunteers who habituated within the four subdistricts located in Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai Province. They are Suthep, Mae Hia, Fa Ham, and Tha Sala Subdistricts. The statistics used for statistical description were frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The findings illustrate that the health information behavior of local women VHVs is at a high level. They need health information for knowledge dissemination in preventing and controlling the spread of the coronavirus, and in keeping surveillance. Health information is thus sought from reliable sources of information. The health information they acquired was efficiently used to solve problems, including selecting health information/knowledge from clearly identified sources. The problems found in-between the VHVs' fieldwork are at a low level, which clearly shows that most local women VHVs had possessed technological device(s) or equipment(s) for seeking health information/related knowledge. Again, they can appropriately proceed with information behavior in terms of health information use.
