คำฉันท์สรเสริญพระมหามณีรัตนปฏิมากร : การศึกษาในฐานะวรรณกรรมเฉลิมพระเกียรติ (“Kham Chan Sarasoen Phra Maha Mani Rattana Patimakon”: A study of the eulogy of the Emerald Buddha as a literary commemoration of King Rama IV)

Abstract

บทความวิจัยนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษารูปแบบแนวคิดการเฉลิมพระเกียรติของคำฉันท์สรเสริญพระมหามณีรัตนปฏิมากรในฐานะวรรณกรรมเฉลิมพระเกียรติ ผลการศึกษาพบรูปแบบแนวคิดการเฉลิมพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว 2 ประการ ประการแรกคือ แนวคิดการเฉลิมพระเกียรติ ประกอบด้วย แนวคิดเทวราชา แนวคิดธรรมราชา แนวคิดพุทธราชา และแนวคิดพระญามหาจักรพรรดิราช ประการที่สองคือ กลวิธีการนำเสนอแนวคิดการเฉลิมพระเกียรติ ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งที่ผู้ประพันธ์ต้องการนำเสนอเพื่อเฉลิมพระเกียรติ ประกอบด้วย แนวคิดการนำพระพุทธมหามณีรัตนปฏิมากรมาเฉลิมพระเกียรติ แนวคิดการชื่นชมพระอัจฉริยภาพ และแนวคิดการชื่นชมพระบารมี รูปแบบแนวคิดการเฉลิมพระเกียรติเหล่านี้แสดงให้เห็นว่า ผู้ประพันธ์ได้รักษาขนบการเฉลิมพระเกียรติในอุดมคติได้อย่างสมบูรณ์และได้สร้างสรรค์กลวิธีการนำเสนอแนวคิดการเฉลิมพระเกียรติร่วมสมัย เพื่อเฉลิมพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวอีกด้วย

This research aims to study the conceptual patterns of the eulogy “Kham Chan Sarasoen Phra Maha Mani Rattana Patimakon” as a literary commemoration of King Rama IV. The result reveals two conceptual patterns as follows: 1) the conceptual ideas of commemoration which consist of Devaraja, Dhammaraja, Buddharaja, and Chakravartin; and 2) the presentation strategies used by the author to commemorate the King, namely, the uses of the eulogy of the Emerald Buddha as high praise for King Rama IV’s intelligence and virtues. Additionally, these concepts of eulogy show that the author has perfectly upheld the traditional principles of ideal eulogy as well as created contemporary strategies to commemorate King Rama IV.
