การพัฒนารูปแบบการจัดการเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษตามแนวการสอนแบบปฏิสัมพันธ์ร่วมกับการเรียนรู้แบบร่วมมือเพื่อส่งเสริมความสามารถการอ่าน (The development of an English interactive approach and collaborative learning instructional model to enhance reading comprehension ability)

Abstract

การศึกษาวิจัยเรื่องนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) พัฒนารูปแบบการจัดการเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษตามแนวการสอนแบบปฏิสัมพันธ์ร่วมกับการเรียนรู้แบบร่วมมือ และ 2) ประเมินประสิทธิผลการใช้รูปแบบที่สร้างขึ้น โดยเปรียบเทียบความสามารถการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจของนักศึกษาก่อนและหลังเรียน และศึกษาความสุขในการเรียนรู้ต่อการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษ กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ นักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี ชั้นปีที่ 1 คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีอุตสาหกรรม มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2564 จำนวน 50 คน ได้มาโดยวิธีการสุ่มอย่างง่าย ใช้กระบวนการวิจัยและพัฒนาร่วมกับระเบียบวิธีวิจัยแบบผสมผสานวิธี เครื่องมือที่ใช้ ประกอบด้วย 1) รูปแบบการจัดการเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษตามแนวการสอนแบบปฏิสัมพันธ์ร่วมกับการเรียนรู้แบบร่วมมือ 2) คู่มือการใช้รูปแบบ 3) เครื่องมือประเมินประสิทธิผลของรูปแบบ ได้แก่ แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจ และแบบบันทึกความสุขในการเรียนรู้ สถิติที่ใช้ คือ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่า t-test แบบ dependent และการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา ผลการศึกษาพบว่า 1) รูปแบบการจัดการเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษ ประกอบด้วย 5 องค์ประกอบ ได้แก่ 1.1) หลักการ 1.2) วัตถุประสงค์ 1.3) ขั้นตอนการเรียนรู้ คือ กระตุ้นก่อนอ่าน คาดเดาและวางแผน อ่านและแลกเปลี่ยน และสรุปสิ่งที่อ่าน 1.4) การวัดและประเมินผล และ 1.5) ปัจจัยความสำเร็จ 2) ประสิทธิผลของการใช้รูปแบบ พบว่าความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจของนักศึกษาหลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 และความสุขในการเรียนรู้ของนักศึกษาในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก และนักศึกษามีความพยายาม กระตือรือร้น และเพลิดเพลินในการทำกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ในห้องเรียนเป็นกลุ่มผ่านระบบออนไลน์ เห็นคุณค่าในตนเอง มีเป้าหมายในการพัฒนาตนเอง มีปฏิสัมพันธ์ที่ดีกับเพื่อนและผู้สอนผ่านการใช้รูปแบบที่สร้างขึ้น ทั้งนี้ ผลการวิจัยสามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการสอนภาษาอังกฤษที่ทำให้ผู้เรียนได้มีโอกาสทำงานเป็นทีมผ่านการใช้กิจกรรมที่หลากหลายและมีความสุขในการเรียน

This research aimed to 1) develop an English interactive approach and collaborative learning instructional model and 2) measure the effectiveness of the model by comparing students’ reading comprehension ability before and after using the instructional model and studying students’ happiness toward the instructional model. The sample group consisted of 50 first-year undergraduate students from the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, Silpakorn University, enrolled in the second semester of the academic year 2021, selected using a simple random sampling method. The research employed a mixed-method approach, utilizing research and development procedures. The research instruments included: 1) an English interactive approach and collaborative learning instructional model, 2) an instructional manual for the model, and 3) evaluation tools for measuring the effectiveness of the model, including a test measuring English reading comprehension ability and a survey measuring happiness in learning. Mean, standard deviation, dependent t-test, and content analysis were used for data analysis. The study found that: 1) the English teaching model consisted 5 components which are 1.1) principles, 1.2) objectives, 1.3) learning steps, including pre-reading stimulation, prediction and planning, reading and exchanging, and summarizing what is read, 1.4) measurement and evaluation, and 1.5) success factors; and 2) the effectiveness of using the model revealed that students’ English reading comprehension ability significantly increased after the intervention at a statistical level of significance of 0.05. Additionally, overall happiness in learning among students was high. Students demonstrated effort, enthusiasm, and enjoyment in various classroom activities conducted as group work through online systems. They recognized their own worth, set goals for self-improvement, and had good interactions with peers and instructors through the use of the developed model. The research findings can be applied to English language teaching to provide learners with opportunities for teamwork through diverse and enjoyable activities, fostering happiness in learning.
