บทคัดย่อ

การสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะด้วยเทคนิคจากวัสดุกระดาษทำมือ เป็นวัสดุชนิดหนึ่งที่ศิลปินนิยมมาสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน ความผูกพันระหว่างมนุษย์กับการใช้กระดาษมีมาอย่างยาวนาน ตั้งแต่อดีตกาลจนถึงสมัยปัจจุบัน ในโลกตะวันตกและตะวันออกต่างมีความสัมพันธ์กับการใช้กระดาษทั้งสิ้น ทั้งในแง่ของการใช้ในลักษณะการตอบสนองทางด้านกายภาพ และทางด้านจิตใจ หมายถึง การใช้อยู่ในชีวิตประจำวัน เช่นการบันทึก การสื่อสาร หรือใช้กับภาชนะข้าวของเครื่องใช้ในชีวิตประจำวัน เป็นต้น ส่วนการตอบสนองทางด้านจิตใจ คือการบันทึกบทสวดตามความชื่อและความศรัทธาในลักษณะของคัมภีร์ต่างๆ ที่เกิดขึ้นในแต่ละศาสนา จากการศึกษากระบวนการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานด้วยกรรมวิธีจากวัสดุกระดาษทำมือ พบว่าเป็นกรรมวิธีหนึ่งที่ศิลปินสามารถแสดงออกทางเทคนิคที่น่าสนใจและสามารถสร้างสรรค์ผลงานเป็นอัตลักษณ์เฉพาะตนได้อย่างสมบูรณ์ อีกทั้งยังเป็นแบบอย่างของการสร้างสรรค์และเป็นอีกแนวทางหนึ่งที่ศิลปินรุ่นหลังสามารถนำไปบูรณาการทางเทคนิคในผลงานสร้างสรรค์ของตนเองได้ ทั้งนี้ยงั สามารถนำ ความรู้และประสบการณ์จาก การทดลองสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน ไปใช้ในกระบวนการเรียนนการสอนในหลกัสูตรสาขาวิชาทัศนศิลป์ คณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตปัตตานี และเป็นประโยชน์แก่ผู้สอนโดยทั่วไป เพื่อเป็นแนวทางการแสดงออกตลอดจนเป็นแบบอย่างในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะต่อไป

Abstract

Hand-made paper materials is one of the most popular materials used by creative artists. Therelationship between human beings and the use of paper has been going on for a long time. Both Eastand West have formed relationships with paper in which both physical and psychological responses havebeen found. In terms of physical response, we use paper for writing messages down to communicate withother people, in addition to its use with some kinds of containers in our daily life. In terms of psychologicalresponse, we use it for recording religious chanting. This study focuses on the processes of creating piecesof art using hand-made paper materials. It was found that the process expresses the artists’ creativity andtechnical ability to work as well as their identity. It is also an example of creativity and a way that an artistcould go back to the technical integration of their creative works. Creative experiments are used by the facultyof Fine and Applied Arts at Prince of Songkla University, Pattani campus, in the teaching process within thefield of visual arts. Not only is this method very useful for teaching in general, it could help as a guide aswell as an exemplary expression of the creative works of art in the future.
