บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษารูปแบบ ภูมิปัญญา และแนวคิดในการสร้างสรรค์งานจิตรกรรมฝาผนังของไทยเพื่อใช้เป็นแนวทางในการออกแบบเครื่องเรือนรับแขก โดยใช้วิธีการสัมภาษณ์ จากช่างผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านงานจิตรกรรมฝาผนังไทยสกุลช่างเพชรบุรี จำนวน 30 ท่าน เน้นศึกษาถึง คุณลักษณะ คุณค่า และคุณสมบัติของงานจิตรกรรมฝาผนังวัดใหญ่สุวรรณาราม จังหวัดเพชรบุรี พบว่าเรื่องราวเทพชุมนุม เป็นเรื่องราวที่สามารถสะท้อนคุณลักษณะที่เป็นเอกลักษณะของงานจิตรกรรมฝาผนัง วัดใหญ่สุวรรณารามได้อย่างชัดเจนที่สุด ซึ่งเรื่องราวเทพชุมนุมมีองค์ประกอบศิลป์ที่โดดเด่นได้แก่ เส้นสินเทา สี ประกอบด้วย พื้นขาว 50% สีแดงชาด 25% สีทอง (ทองคำเปลว) 15% และเขียวหม่น 10% นอกจากนี้ยังประกอบด้วยลวดลายอีก 3 ลักษณะ ได้แก่ลายไทย ลายไทยเลียนแบบธรรมชาติ และลายธรรมชาติ ประกอบกับลักษณะของแสงที่ส่องเข้ามาจากช่องประตูทั้ง 5 บาน ซึ่งองค์ประกอบศิลป์เหล่านี้สามารถนำมาประยุกต์เป็นแนวทางในการออกแบบเครื่องเรือนรับแขกเพื่อสะท้อนถึงคุณค่าทางด้านอารมณ์ความรู้สึก 2 รูปแบบด้วยกัน คือ ความสง่างามภูมิฐาน และน่าเลื่อมใสศรัทธา อีกทั้งยังสามารถนำมาปรับปรุงให้เกิดประโยชน์ในการใช้สอยเพื่อกิจกรรมในการรับแขกรูปแบบอื่นๆ ได้อย่างลงตัว

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study the style, wisdom and rationale of the creation of Thai mural paintings with an aim to use the results as a guideline to designing living room furniture. It was conducted through interviews with 30 Thai mural painting experts from a Petchaburi local arts clan, focusing on the style, value and characteristics of the mural painting work in Wat Yai Suwannaram at Phetchaburi.  It was found that the Tepchumnum is the story that can most clearly reflect the identity of Wat Yai Suwannaram Phetchaburi mural painting style. One of the outstanding elements of art from the Tepchumnum is Sintao line, consisting of 50 percent of white in the background, 25 percent of vermilion red, 15 percent of gold from gold leaves, and 10 percent of dim green. Other outstanding elements include three particular patterns: Thai pattern; Thai pattern imitating nature; and rational pattern which interacts with the sun light that shines through the five doorways. All of these elements are able to be applied to design living room furniture that articulates two types of emotional values: dignified elegance and faithfulness. This can be taken further to develop the usefulness of the functionality of other living room activities.
