บทความนี้นำเสนอภาพรวมของการท่องเที่ยวที่มีผลต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงเชิงโครงสร้างในงานประเพณีบุญบั้งไฟโดยให้ความสนใจไปที่คำถามหลักคือการท่องเที่ยวส่งต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงของบุญบั้งไฟในปัจจุบันอย่างไร นำเสนอผ่านกรณีศึกษาบุญบั้งไฟเมืองยโสธรและอภิปรายผลกระทบของการท่องเที่ยวโดยเฉพาะในประเด็นเรื่องการเสื่อมถอยของวัฒนธรรม ผลการศึกษาพบว่า บุญบั้งไฟที่จัดขึ้นในปัจจุบันตอบสนองต่อความต้องการที่หลากหลายรวมถึงการท่องเที่ยว ซึ่งทำให้เกิดเปลี่ยนแปลงในเชิงโครงสร้างที่ปัจจุบันตอบสนองต่อวิถีชีวิตในเชิงเศรษฐกิจซึ่งต่างจากรูปแบบดั้งเดิมที่ตอบสนองต่อวิถีชีวิตแบบเกษตรกรรม แม้ว่าประชาชนจะสะท้อนว่าการท่องเที่ยวไม่ได้ให้ผลกำไรในด้านเศรษฐกจิ ให้กับประชาชนในพื้นที่แต่ใ่นเชิงโครงสร้า้งแล้วการท่องเที่ยวเป็นปัจจัยที่เีข้า้ไปกระตุ้นและผลกั ให้ประชาชนในพื้นที่นำมาเป็นเหตุผลในการจัดกิจกรรมใหม่ที่เป็นการส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวและตอบสนองต่อความต้องการส่วนบุคคลซึ่งส่งผลต่อจิตสำนึกของประชาชนในเชิงวาทกรรมด้วย อย่างไรก็ดี ความเป็นเนื้อแท้ทางวัฒนธรรมไม่ได้เป็นเรื่องที่ตายตัว การปรับเปลี่ยนการจัดงานบุญบั้งไฟในปัจจุบันจึงไม่ได้ทำให้บุญบั้งไฟสูญเสียความเป็นเนื้อแท้ทางวัฒนธรรมไปทั้งหมด แต่กลับถูกปรับเปลี่ยนให้รองรับวิถีชีวิตของประชาชนในปัจจุบันในฐานะที่เป็นประเพณีร่วมสมัย

Abstract

This research is a study of the political implication in the National Library version book named “SaePha Khun Chang - Khun Phaen”. Its purposes are to describe the political implication which appeared in textsin terms of political thought, contexts and political agenda which drive to the advents of archives scrutiny andsettling publications in 1917 under the deliberately-particular performance of interpretation and contextualanalysis.The research has revealed that texts in the aforementioned, the National Library version “Sae PhaKhun Chang - Khun Phaen”, had portrayed the real figures of society, particularly, the relationship amongpeople’s castes in vertical power while disguising loyalty of military to the monarch. As the study showed,from the status and role of Prince Damrong Rajanubhab, the president of the National Library, with the ThaiState’s scenario at that time, we have come to a presumption that the advent of the mentioned book was notonly to maintain the Thai poetry scheme orderly in Thai language’s system as ultimately perfect as anticipatedbut also to establish the monarchism’s loyalty among Thai people by resorting the deeply-disguised figuresas typically formed.
