บทคัดย่อ

บทความนี้เสนอคำแปลเป็นไทยและเวียดนาม ตอนแรกของตำนานกวามโตเมืองฉบับภาษาไทยโซ่ง (หรือลาวโซ่ง) กับการพิมพ์ภาษาไทยโซ่งด้วยฟอนต์คอมพิวเตอร์ที่ผู้เขียนสร้างขึ้นเองเป็นครั้งแรกในประเทศไทย ซึ่งวางอักษรตามแป้นภาษาไทย พร้อมคำถ่ายถอดเสียงอ่าน ด้วยสัทอักษรสากล IPAชาวไทยโซ่งคือ เชื้อสายชาวไทดำ ซึ่งบรรพชนได้ติดตามกองทัพสยาม จากสิบสองจุไท ในภาคตะวันตกเฉียงเหนือประเทศเวียดนาม เข้ามาอยู่เมืองสยามเมื่อสองร้อยกว่าปีมาแล้วชนชาติไทดำเป็นกลุ่มชนที่พูดภาษาตระกูล ไทกลุ่มหนึ่งในประเทศเวียดนาม ตั้งถิ่นฐานอยู่ในจังหวัดเดี่ยนเบียนและจังหวัดเซินลา เป็นส่วนมากในเวียดนาม ได้มีการรวบรวมเรื่องกวามโตเมืองได้ประมาณ 30 กว่าสำนวนในการแปลกวามโตเมืองฉบับไทยโซ่งครั้งนี้ ผู้เขียนได้รับคำปรึกษาจากดร.หว่างเลือง ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิชาวไทในเวียดนามและอาจารย์ชวลิต อารยุติธรรม นักวิชาการชาวไทยโซ่ง อำเภอบางเลน จังหวัดนครปฐมด้านคำอ่านผู้เขียนใช้สัทอักษรระบบเสียงของวิศรุต สุวรรณวิเวก จากวิทยานิพนธ์มหาบัณฑิต มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร ปี พ.ศ. 2524 อย่างไรก็ดี หากมีข้อบกพร่องก็เป็นของผู้เขียนเองคนเดียวฟอนต์ภาษาไทดำภาษาเวียดนาม และ IPA ที่ใช้ในบทความนี้เป็นผลงานออกแบบส่วนตัวของผู้เขียนเช่นกัน

Abstract

This article presents the translation into Thai and Vietnamese of the first section of the famousTai Song (or Lao Song) chronicle “Kwam To Muang” typed with a computer font created by the author,Thailand’s first invention for a Thai keyboard layout. It also provides a phonetic transcription with IPA. .The Tai Song are the descendants of Black Tai people the Siamese troops brought to Siam fromSip Song Chu Thai, Northwestern Vietnam more than two centuries ago.Tai Dam or Black Tai are one of the Tai groups in Vietnam who speak a dialect of the Tai languagesfamily, living mostly in Dien Bien and Son La provinces.In Vietnam, they have already collected more than 30 different versions of this Kwam To Muang.Hoang Luong, a Vietnamese scholar of Tai origin and Acharn Chavalit Arayayutitham, a Tai Songexpert from Nakornpathom, Thailand, gave their valuable assistance with this translating work. For anyimperfections that may exist, however, the responsibility is this author’s.For the phonetic transcription, the author follows Visarute Suvannavivak’s system as seen in hisMA Thesis (Silpakorn University,1981.)The Vietnamese and IPA fonts used in this article were created by the author.
