Pre-service Teaching Practicum Experience Development Model : Case study of Dual Bachelor’s Degree Program, University of Phayao

Abstract
ABSTRACT
The objective of the research was to develop the pre-service teaching practicum experience model. The research had 3 steps : (1) studying basic information and problem of pre-service teaching practicum experience administration following education bachelor degree curriculum, education branch (2) developing and verifying the pre-service teaching practicum experience model by 12 experts before experimenting (3) experimenting the pre-service teaching practicum experience model by 355 students, academic year 2015 and appraising the model; after updating the model, using the model by 527 students, academic year 2016. The research revealed as following; 1.Basic information of pre-service teaching practicum experience, University of Phayao. 1.1) The curriculum was Dual Bachelor’s Degree Program between Education Bachelor’s Degree curriculum with Science Bachelor’s Degree curriculum and Education Bachelor’s Degree curriculum with Liberal Arts Bachelor’s Degree curriculum. The Science Bachelor’s Degree curriculum students, academic year 2014 were supervised by face to face, academic year 2015 were supervised by face to face and online by technology media such as web cam, face book live, video and clip. 1.2) The pre-service teaching practicum experience 2 problems were; (1)choosing schools for pre-service teaching practicum experience, traveling of the supervisors and budgeting for traveling (2)the number of the 2 supervisors for 1 student, one from the school of education and another one from the school of major responsibilities. 2.The results of developing the model of pre-service teaching practicum experience administration composing background of the model, basic theory concept, principle of the model, objective and the process of pre-service teaching practicum experience, the applying of systems theory using. The model compose of context, input, process, output, outcome and feedback. The result of model appraising by the experts were most appropriate. 3.The results of model experimenting revealed that; (1) the developing model could made dual bachelor’s degree program students from Education Bachelor’s Degree curriculum with Science Bachelor’s Degree curriculum and Education Bachelor’s Degree curriculum with Liberal Arts Bachelor’s Degree curriculum successful for pre-service teaching practicum experience within 1 academic year. (2) 114 supervisors per 527 students ratio were 1:4.62 (3) supervised by face to face and online by technology media only video and clip. (4) the students completed their degrees 100 percent (5) the 418 students feedback within 1 year showed that 324 students (77.51 percent) had been teachers.
