Abstract

The major aim of the research was to study teaching behaviors of the primary school teachers at Buddhism School in Thasa-ard Temple, Thasa-ard Sub-district, Seka District, Bueangkarn Province focusing on teaching preparation, learning activity management, learning motivation and reinforcement, teaching materials, and measurement and evaluation. This research qualitative method  Results of the research were as follows: 1) The findings showed that the overall teachers always prepared lesson plans and evaluation appropriately. 2) The learning activities were appropriate for the students. The teachers pronounced clearly and loudly. Additionally, they usually gave the students advice for learning activities including building awareness of learning activities. Lastly, the teachers and students concluded the learning activities at the end of the class.  3) The teachers always conducted various and funny activities for the students. The teachers usually reinforced the students by giving rewards or complimenting. Additionally, the teachers usually improved the awareness of learning activities and study skill development of the students. 4) The teachers understood and used the teaching material correctly and appropriately for all students. 5) The teachers always told the students before testing. The measurement and evaluation consisted of pre-test, on-going assessment and posttest.
