The Leadership of the School Administrator to Encourage the Students Quality for Reading and Writing in the Basic Education Institution

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study the leadership of the school administrator and the relationship of the school administrator to encourage the students quality for reading and writing in the basic education institution according to the school administrator, academic teachers and Thai teachers in Phichit Primary Education Service Area Office 1. The samples were 324 persons consisting principals, academic teachers and Thai teachers from small, medium, and large school of size. The instrument used for collecting data was 5 levels of rating scale questionnaire. The statistics used for analyzing data were mean, standard deviation, and pearson pordrduct moment correlation coefficent. The finding were as follows. 1) Leadership of the administrator to encourage the students quality for reading and writing in the basic education institution in Phichit Primary Education Service Area Office 1 was performed at a high level as a whole and while considering separately, all of the leadership of the administrator to encourage the students quality for reading and writing in the basic education institution were performed at high level. The highest average was the development and motivating teachers, the second was teaching program management, assign the school’s mission and enhancing the good atmosphere in school. 2) Leadership of the school administrator to encourage the students quality for reading and writing in the basic education institution according to the school administrator. academic teachers were positive relationships significance at the .05 level.
