Academic Leadership Strategies of Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University for 2018-2022 year

Abstract

This research aims to develop academic leadership strategies in the region of Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University from 2018 to 2022.This study was divided into 3 stages according to the research purposes : data collection , documents analysis, in-depth interviews and workshops. The data was analyzed by content analysis. The research findings showed that strategic plan consisted of a vision, mission, strategic issues, goals, objectives, strategies, indicators and how to drive. The strategies were as follows: 1) the system development and the mechanism management of the university through the principles of good governance, 2) establishing and developing leaders and leadership of the future to personnel in management position, 3) the system development  and the mechanism for defining and driving policies and strategies, 4) intensive reviewing and redirecting strategic plans to match the competition and local context  5) raising the quality standards of graduates production to meet the social demand, 6) intensive establishing the varieties of proactive courses, 7) increasing local development ability by doing MOU between a university and a local society, 8) raising the production and development standard of teachers and education personnel, 9) keeping and developing local art and culture internationally , 10) the development of university educational services marketing, 11) intensive system improving and managing human resources and physical resources efficiently and effectively, 12) the system and mechanism development of efficient collaborating between an action group and a network group inside and outside the university, and 13) raising the collaboration with a large organization to develop a university to become a smart university
