The Proceeds of the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej and the Royal Family Members to Phetchaburi Province

Abstract

The study had 3 objectives which were 1) to study the proceeds of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej and the royal family members to Phetchaburi Province ; 2) to analyze the proceeds of the Late King and the Royal Family on royal duties in the Province in order to conduct academic database and 3) to synthesize the proceeds of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol in the form of time series photo book. Varieties of qualitative methods were applied according to the situations. Starting with documentary study, interviewing with academic and community people, meetings were conducted with specialists as well as community people in order to recheck the data. The final phase was home visit to the community which involved snowball sampling method. The data were analyzed by content analysis and analytic and synthetic description The study revealed that starting from 1946 to 2013, His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej has paid his visit to all 8 Amphoes in the province. There were 293 days but 304 times as sometimes the royal duties were found occurring in 2 places. During the time, there were 18 Royal Family membered that visited the province. Some were the retinues and some performed the royal duties. In analyzing the proceeds, it was found that there were 109 royal initiative projects in the province. The projects can be divided into 8 categories according to the specification of the Office of the Royal Development Project Board. In synthesizing the proceeds of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej to the province, a photo book in the form of time series were published in 4 color printing with not less than 500 pictures and it was 360 pages.
