Developmental Guidelines for Elderly Care of Elders with Dependency in Nakhon Chum Sub-District, Mueang District, Kamphaengphet Province

Abstract

This research aims to 1) Evaluate the Elderly Care of Elders with Dependency in Nakhon Chum Sub-District, Mueang District, Kamphaengphet Province. 2) Study the Need of  the Elderly Care of Elders with Dependency in Nakhon Chum Sub-District, Mueang District, Kamphaengphet Province. 3) Guideline to developing the Elderly Care of Elders with Dependency in Nakhon Chum Sub-District, Mueang District, Kamphaengphet Province. The research procedure was divided into 2 steps as follows; 1) Evaluate data were analyzed from (Barthel ADL index) 350 questionnaires and the interview was performed by the related in the Elderly Care of Elders person. The data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, and content analysis. The results were found;  1) The Evaluation of the Elderly Care of Elders with Dependency in Nakhon Chum Sub-District, Mueang District, Kamphaengphet Province dependency 98%, there was separated by moderated dependence was 1 %, and severed Depression was 1%. 2) Study the Need of the Elderly Care of Elders with Dependency in Nakhon Chum Sub-District, Mueang District, Kamphaengphet Province found Healthcare providers need to get the education health of themselves before illness, supporting from the health department, and consumer goods.  3) Guideline to developing the Elderly Care of Elders with Dependency in Nakhon Chum Sub-District, Mueang District, Kamphaengphet Province was participated in care planning to develop a continuum of dependency care services for the elderly, monitoring, evaluating and providing knowledge and support to caregivers of older adults.
