The Enhancement of the Happiness Working Model of the Organizational Culture By The Instructors of The Northern Rajabhat Universities

Abstract

This research, the enhancement of happiness working model of the organizational culture by instructors of Northern Rajabhat Universities, was a mixed method research which was a combination of quantitative and qualitative research. The study aimed 1) to study the organizational culture pattern of Northern Rajabhat University instructors, 2) to study the happiness working levels of Northern Rajabhat University instructors, 3) to compare the happiness working levels among Northern Rajabhat University instructors, 4) to study the factors influencing the happiness working among instructors of Northern Rajabhat University individually and 5) to approach the happiness working models of Northern Rajabhat University instructors. The research samples were 350 Northern Rajabhat University instructors. The samples were randomly selected. In collecting the data process, the researcher used a 5-rating scale questionnaire which had overall reliability value at 0.90. The data was analyzed by using statistical method which were frequency, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s coefficient correlation and multiple linear regression analysis. The qualitative research was consisted of 25 participants, collecting data through the in-depth interview method and was analyzed by using the content analysis. The result discovered that 1) the models of organizational culture by the instructors of Northern Rajabhat University were mostly Clan culture and Bureaucrat culture. 2) The overall happiness working level of Northern Rajabhat University professors was found at very happy. Considering in eight dimensions, the results were shown that a dimension with the highest. Moreover, there were five dimensions which were at high level; arranged in order as follow; Good morality, Good family, Good knowledge Relaxation. and Good socialization. There were two dimensions were found at a medium level which were Good financial and Being healthy as follow.  3) The happiness working comparison among Northern Rajabhat University instructors revealed that instructors with different gender, education, income and working period, had statistically differences in happiness working at .05. In addition, 4) the factors influencing working happiness was at .05 statistically. Thus, there were eight variables, arranged in order by using the standardized coefficient towards the happiness working of Northern Rajabhat University instructors, were Colleagues, Working environment, Salary, Clan culture, Leader, Job description, Life quality and balancing, and Bureaucrat culture. The standardized regression equation was Z = .12Z1 + .27Z3 + .10Z4 + .45Z5+ .10Z6 + .17Z7 + .15Z8 + .07Z10. 5) The approaching in happiness working conception of Northern Rajabhat University instructors were consisted of 4 approaches. The first approach was to get instructors to understand the job value from the institution, with supporting and promoting the institution preparation. The second approach was to change executive and new quality management. The third approach was to develop a professional working team and last one was to enhance instructors to have self-development, positive attitude and working expertise.
