Knowledge Management to Create Cultural Spaces for Mien Ethnic Groups, Ban Wang Mai, Rong Kho Sub-district, Wang Nuea District, Lampang

Abstract
This paper aims to 1) to study cultural existence of Mian ethnic groups after being affected by migration and 2) to create cultural knowledge management of the groups. By developing research problems from 5 tools, namely Problem Tree, Log Frame, Outcome Mapping, Double Sword, and Indicators. A study on 1) revealed that cultural memories of Mian have been passed down from the past to the present, for example (1) the aspect of language/literature”. (2) the aspect of “cuisine/dress code”. 3) the aspect of “way of life/ritual”. A study on 2) showed that most of Mian ethnic groups’ knowledge was stayed within a person i.e., folk sage. As the knowledge has not been kept systematically, management for Mian ethnic groups created a tool for supporting knowledge storage i.e., a “community map” and “12-month calendar” obtained from important persons in the community. A set of cultural knowledge of the groups were included in the tool to connect the people from Mian ethnic groups for acceptance and recognition of its value. main culture knowledge was categorized into the aspects i.e., (1) language and literature (2) community custom and ritual (3) cuisine (4) way of life and livelihood and (5) folk sage/wise man. “Cultural knowledge”
