Developing A School Curriculum Management Manual Educational Innovation Area Eastern Special Economic Development Zone

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the condition of curricula management of schools in educational innovation areas; 2) to develop and verify the appropriateness of curriculum management manuals of schools in educational innovation areas; and 3) to study the satisfaction in using the curriculum management manuals of schools in educational innovation areas. School of Education Innovation Area the population used in the research were teachers and educational personnel. Under the Office of Secondary Education Service Area, Chon Buri, Rayong from 5 schools, totals 459 people. The sample used in the research was 65 teachers, obtained by systematic random selection. The research instruments were     1) questionnaire 2) manual quality assessment form and 3) satisfaction assessment form.    The statistics used to analyze the data were mean and standard deviation. The results of the study were as follows: 1) The results of a study on the condition of curricula management of schools in educational innovation areas Overall, it's at a high level. In order of the aspects with the highest average to the lowest mean, i.e. academic planning course administration teaching management teaching media arrangement Teaching and Evaluation and academic supervision 2) The results of the development of the curriculum management manual of schools in educational innovation areas consisted of 5 components: 1) instructions for using the manual 2) content and activities 3) algorithms 4) media, materials and equipment and     5) Measurement and evaluation section suitability of the manual Overall, it is appropriate at    a high level. The mean was 4.43, the standard deviation was 0.29. 3) The satisfaction assessment of the curriculum management manual of schools in educational innovation areas found that the overall level was at a high level. The mean is 4.53 and the standard deviation is 0.50.
