Strategy for Developing Opportunity Expansion Schools under Kamphaeng Phet Primary Educational Service Area office 1 and 2

Abstract

The purpose of this research study is to study the problems and the development strategies for the educational opportunity expansion school under Kamphaeng Phet Primary Educational Office Areas 1 and 2 in order to create and evaluate the strategies. There are three steps as follows: 1) study the problems and the strategies by conducting the interviews and asking the questions with the Delphi techniques, using the content analysis, making the consensus, comparing the data of each expert to the answers from the groups, and calculating median and interquartile range (Q3 – Q1); 2) create the strategies by conducting the workshop, draft the strategies by conducting the workshop, checking the strategies the connoisseurship and using the content analysis; 3) evaluate the strategies by holding the public hearing with the stakeholders, administrating the questionnaires and analyzing the data with mean and standard deviation. The results were as follows. The experts agree the most items that it's problematic. at the highest level.  The strategies developed for the educational opportunity expansion school, it consists of five guidelines as follow :  management system development, in terms of quality development of teachers and educational personnel, in terms of quality development of learners at the basic education level, in terms of increasing access to basic education services and academic quality development. Firstly, the problems were about the development strategies. There were five strategies and ten tactics. By evaluating the strategies, it was found the consistency, the correctness, possibility and usefulness were at the high level and the highest level.
