A Developing Model of Educational Service Management Model for Chinese Students Studying in Rajabhat Universities in the Upper Northern Region

Abstract

The objectives of the research are 1. To study the current conditions, problems and needs for the development of educational service administration for Chinese students studying in the Upper Northern Rajabhat University, 2. To test the model and manual for the educational service administration model for Chinese students studying in the Upper Northern Rajabhat University, 3. To evaluate the model and manual, both quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis are applied. According to the research objectives, there are three steps for the research: 1. Study the current conditions, problems and needs for the development of educational service administration for Chinese students studying in the Upper Northern Rajabhat University. The instrument is the questionnaire. The quality of instrument is checked and each item’s value is between 0.80 to 1.00. Data were collected from 201 subjects, including 181 students and 20 instructors, based on the Krejcie & Morgan tables. At a confidence level of 95%, the research found that the current overall condition was at a low level, the overall problem is at a high level, and the overall development need is at a high level. The statistics used for data analysis are mean and standard deviation. 2. To test the model and manual for the educational service administration model for Chinese students studying in the Upper Northern Rajabhat University. The seminar with 11 experts drafted the model. The model includes (1) principles, (2) objectives, (3) systematic methods, (4) evaluation, (5) successful factors. And the manual includes (1) the source and importance, (2) the principle of manual, (3) the purpose of the manual, (4) administration method of systematic educational service, (5) implementation guide, (6) appendix. The model and manual were tested by experts, and the test results are 100% correctness and appropriateness; 3. To evaluate the model and manual for the educational service administration model for Chinese students studying in the Upper Northern Rajabhat University. 11 experts evaluated the feasibility and utility of the model and manual, and the result was found that the feasibility and utility of the model and manual were at the highest levels.
