Abstract

A Learning Ecosystem is a relationship system between learners and the learning environment around them, relying on learning processes, learning sources, collaboration from various sectors, and the use of technology to support learning, both inside and outside the classroom, conducive to learning according to the potential of each individual. Components of the learning ecosystem include group of people, content, strategy, resources, learning activity organization, learning culture, network collaboration, and technology utilization. Learning is evolving into an environment that emphasizes integrated learning, individualized learning, and lifelong learning. Therefore, the learning ecosystem is important for lifelong learning and enhancing workforce skills. Developing learning spaces by developing the learning environment system is a way to effectively reduce educational disparities. This article aims to present issues related to the concept of a learning ecosystem, the importance of learning ecosystems, their components, learning ecosystem for lifelong learning, successful examples of learning ecosystems, and guidelines for developing lifelong learning promoting learning ecosystems
