Effects of Using Activities on Community of Philosophical Inquiry Approach Affecting Democratic Citizenship Characteristics of Ninth Grade Students

Abstract
The purpose of this research were to 1) Compare the Learning about civic duties, culture, and living for ninth grade students before and after using activities based on community of philosophy inquiry approach; 2) Study the democratic citizenship characteristics of ninth grade students by using activities based on community of philosophy inquiry approach 3) Study the opinions of ninth grade students toward activities based on community of philosophy inquiry approach. This is an Experimental research. The instrument were: 1) lesson plan 2) a learning achievement test 3) an assessment form of democratic citizenship 4) a questionnaire on students towards using activity based on community of philosophy inquiry approach. The collected data analyzed by mean, standard deviation, t-test for dependent, and content analysis. The research finding are summarized as follows: 1. The learning achievement by activities based on community of philosophy inquiry approach were significant higher than before the participation learning at .05 level 2. the democratic citizenship characteristics of Ninth grade students base on community of philosophical inquiry approach was at a highest level of agreement. and 3. Opinions of Ninth grade students toward activity based on community of philosophy inquiry approach. Was at the highest level of agreement.
