Social Media Usage Behavior and Social Media Literacy of Undergraduate Students at Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University

Abstract
This research aimed to 1) study the behavior of using social media of undergraduate students at Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University 2) to assess the social media literacy skills of undergraduate students at Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University 3) to compare the social media literacy skills of undergraduate students at Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University classified by gender, year, faculty or place of study and cumulative grade point average. The sample consisted of 375 undergraduate students studying in their 1st to 4th year of the academic year 2024. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, T-test and One-way ANOVA. The research results found that 1. The behavior of students using social media is as follows: 1) Use social media to search for general information the most. 2. Use social media to receive news from social media from the Internet or online media such as online websites, applications, Facebook, Twitter, etc. the most. 3. Use social media for 6-8 hours per day the most. 2) The results of the evaluation of social media literacy The overall picture is at a high level. 1) The results of comparing social media literacy classified by gender found that social media literacy skills were not different. 2) The results of comparing social media literacy classified by year of study found that social media literacy skills were different. 3) The results of comparing social media literacy classified by faculty/place of study found that social media literacy skills were not different. 4) The results of comparing social media literacy classified by cumulative grade point average found that social media literacy skills were different.
