Development of an IT-Based Manual for Program-Level Internal Quality Assurance Management Based on AUN-QA Criteria: A Participatory Approach for Rajabhat Universities
Main Article Content
Abstract
The purposes of this research were to 1) synthesize a model for the application of information technology in program-level internal quality assurance management based on the AUN-QA criteria utilizing a participatory approach for Rajabhat Universities; 2) develop a manual for this technological application; and 3) examine the implementation results of the developed manual. The target groups comprised 9 experts who evaluated the manual's suitability, and 30 faculty members responsible for the programs who participated in the implementation trial. The research instruments utilized were a suitability assessment form and a satisfaction questionnaire. Data were analyzed using mean and standard deviation. The development phase yielded an operational manual encompassing the processes of recording, reporting, and analyzing data across 53 indicators via an online platform. The expert evaluation revealed that the manual's suitability was at the highest level. Furthermore, the implementation trial indicated that the practitioners' satisfaction and their perceived effectiveness of the manual were at the highest level, particularly regarding user convenience, systematic evidence retention, and alignment with actual operational practices.
